Air Fryer Carrot Fries

Ingredients

  • 1 lb 450 grams carrots
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 4 tbsp grated parmesan grate at home
  • 1 tbsp of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt or more to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper or more to taste
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley optional, for garnishing

Instructions

  • Peel the carrots and cut them into fries.
  • Mix the lemon juice, garlic powder, half the parmesan (2 tablespoons), olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss the carrot fries in the mixture.
  • Preheat the air fryer according to the manufacturer’s instructions (or for about 3 minutes if unsure).
  • Air fry at 390°F (200°C) for 15-18 minutes until tender and slightly charred. Flip them halfway through, so they get a bit charred on both sides, or toss them a few times throughout the cooking time.
