Tahini Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup tahini paste
  • 1/4 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 large or 2 small cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 cup of ice-cold water
  • 1/2 tsp of kosher salt

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix the tahini paste, fresh lemon juice, one clove of minced garlic, and salt with a whisk.
  • Slowly add the water (one tablespoon at a time) while whisking until you have a smooth consistency. I used 1/2 cup of water (8 tablespoons), but you may need less or more, depending on the tahini paste you use.
  • Taste and adjust for salt, lemon juice, or extra garlic as you prefer.
