Hull the strawberries and chop them. Slice the oranges and the lemons, and then cut the orange and lemon slices into quarters.
Add the chopped fruit, sugar, and orange liqueur to a pitcher and muddle the fruit with a wooden spoon (or another kitchen tool you have on hand) to release some of the juices from the citrus.
Add the red wine and refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours but not longer than 24 hours. Taste and adjust the recipe if needed. You can add more orange liqueur if you’d like. You can sweeten it more by adding simple syrup or more sugar and let it sit for a bit longer until the sugar melts.
Serve in wine glasses, optionally with ice.
