Figs, with their fleshy sweetness, and goat cheese, with its tart and tangy softness, are an angelic pairing. Spread over a baked flatbread, I simply cannot get enough of this scrumptious crowdpleaser!

What you need for fresh fig and goat cheese flatbread:

  1. Fresh figs – 5 fresh figs
  2. Soft goat cheese – 1 pack (125 grams or 4oz)
  3. Naan bread – 2 plain naans
  4. Arugula – handful of arugula/rocket
  5. Honey – 2 tbsp of honey
  6. Olive oil – 1 tbsp of olive oil

Fig and goat cheese flatbread step-by-step instructions:

Step 1 – Preheat the oven to 220°C or 430°F.

Step 2 – Take the plain naans and brush them with olive oil, and bake them in the oven for about 2 minutes.

Step 3 – Take the naans out of the oven. Spread the goat cheese on the naans. Add the sliced figs and put the naans back in the oven for about 5-6 minutes.

Step 4 – Take the naans out, top them with arugula(rocket), and drizzle the honey.
