Flatbread Wrap with Salami, Hummus, and Avocado

Perfect for a quick packed lunch or a quick meal on a busy day, these salami hummus flatbreads are rich and indulgent. The folded flatbread makes them great to pick up and eat with ease.

Made with avocado, hummus, salami, cheese, arugula, and tomatoes, this wrap requires no cooking, and it’s ready in just 5 minutes. Lunch has never been easier!

If you want to serve it for a more substantial meal like dinner, you can serve it with these parmesan potato wedges or these parmesan fries and a side salad like this tomato mozzarella salad.

Ingredients for one flatbread wrap:

  • Flatbread – 1 flatbread you can fold (pita-style, Greek-style, naan)
  • Hummus – 2 tbsp hummus
  • Avocado – 1/2 avocado, peeled, pitted, and sliced or mashed
  • Deli Salami – 2 oz salami (60 grams), thinly sliced. It’s better if you mix 2-3 types of salami (e.g., Milano, Napoli, Ventricina, Genoa, Sopressata).
  • Cheese – 1 slice of mild cheese (e.g., mozzarella, Emmental, provolone, Gouda)
  • Tomatoes – 5 baby tomatoes, halved (or 1 large tomato, sliced)
  • Arugula – a handful of arugula (rocket), washed and dried

Instructions (with Photos)

Step 1. Spread the hummus on the back of the flatbread. On one half, place the arugula, halved baby tomatoes (or sliced tomato), cheese, and salami. On the other half, place the sliced (or mashed) avocado.

Here I’ve served it with parmesan potato wedges for a weeknight dinner. These wraps are so simple and really filling. If you make the flatbread wrap and love it, let me know in a review below.
