Orange Cinnamon Yogurt Chia Pudding Recipe for a Little Sweet and Spice in Your Life

There’s so much goodness in my orange cinnamon Greek yogurt chia pudding recipe. It’s citrusy, sweet, spiced, and sumptuously creamy, and a great way to start the day!

Orange Cinnamon Yogurt Chia Pudding Recipe

What I love about this chia pudding is the subtlety of its flavors. You’ve got the citrusy notes of the orange, the sweet spice of the cinnamon, and the mild sourness of the Greek yogurt, all working together to make for a delightfully balanced pudding.

There are no bold or overpowering flavors, and it really makes for a more mature-tasting chia dish, absolutely crammed with vitamins and nutrients.

Topped with homemade granola for a welcome crunch, this is such a simple and delicious way to start the day at breakfast.

Ingredients

To make my orange cinnamon yogurt chia pudding, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • Greek Yogurt (full-fat) – 1 cup
  • Freshly-Squeezed Orange Juice – 1 cup
  • Chia Seeds – 8 tbsp
  • Sweet Ground Cinnamon – 1 tsp
  • Orange – 1, peeled and cut into bite-size pieces.
  • Sweetener (Honey or Agave) – 2 tbsp, optional

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1 – In a small blender, add the greek yogurt, freshly-squeezed orange juice, cinnamon, and, optionally, sweetener (if using any).

Step 2 – Blend everything for 30-60 seconds.

Step 3 – Divide the liquid up between two glass jars and add 4 tbsp of chia seeds to each, mixing them in.

Step 4 – After 15 minutes, stir the chia puddings again (to prevent lumps from forming) and add in bite-size orange slices/pieces for texture. Then, refrigerate the chia pudding jars for 6-8 hours (or preferably overnight).

Step 5 – Once you’re ready to eat, top it with a handful of granola to compliment the creamy pudding with a little crunch.

I like to think of this orange cinnamon yogurt chia pudding as that quiet best friend who always takes care of everyone. It’s not bold and sharp, it’s sweet and subtle, packed with goodness and nutrients.

A little granola on top just takes it to the next level. I’ll eat this chia pudding for breakfast, lunch, and even dinner if I’m in a rush. If you need to whip up something quick and filling, this is such a great idea.
